Dear Parents:

We Welcome Your Interest In Our School For The 2008-2009 School Year Or Future. Our school stress challenging academics, good manners or character development, hard-work and best efforts in all of its students. Parents are welcome to consider enrolling their child when the parent intends to work cooperatively with the school by encouraging and assisting their child in home preparation for school, and insisting that their child practice obedience and respect for them as parents at home. It bears stating that regular and prompt student attendance is the parent’s responsibility. At FEMS we intend to hold up high standards of student scholastic achievement and student conduct.

Parents are expected to be able to accept kind, but candid evaluations and assessments of their child’s performance in academics and in student attitude and conduct. The school pledges to do its part to motivate, stimulate, and reward students toward success. Responsible and Effective Discipline will be a cooperative effort between parents and the school. Parents whose child is never wrong and already knows everything are not encouraged to enroll a student at Faith.

The Cost For Student Attendance Is An Important Concern For Parents And To The School. The Tuition Fee per first student for the 2008-2009  school term is $3,500.00. Advance payment of tuition is accepted and encouraged whenever possible. A Tuition Installment is considered $350.00 monthly. The parent is expected to pay the first and tenth installments up-front in the amount of $700.00 prior to the student first day of school. This Initial Advance Payment is Due By August 1, 2008. The remaining eight (8) installments of $350.00 would be paid the first of each month, Choice A, September – April, or Choice B, October – May. No Student Scholarships are available. Parents may expect a ten (10%) percent discount for a second student for tuition only, and a fifteen (15%) percent tuition discount for tuition only for a third student.

The Rate For Before And After School Child Care Will Continue to Be Seven Cents (.07) Per Minute, Or $4.20 Per Hour. The late pick-up fee will remain at the current rate of one dollar ($1.00) per minute, except that one will have to pay it for all late pick-ups. A second student will be charged at the current rate of $3.00 per hour (.05) per minute. A third student may receive childcare for merely two cents (.02) per minute or $1.20 per hour. Computerized Child Care Invoices will be provided at least monthly. It will be the parent's responsibility to sign-in and sign-out the student, otherwise, the time recorded by the caregiver will very probably remain if there is a question about a listed entry of service.

Student Lunch Fee Will Remain As Is For Yet Another Term, $2.00 Per Serving Per Student paid in advance or on the day of service. Bag Lunches from home are acceptable, so long as they are not banquet meals that require much preparation effort and time. We hope parents will consider the benefits of limiting or excluding high sugary food items on a regular basis, as  some students may be adversely affected by regular or incidental amounts of such selections.

The Late Payment Fee Of $30.00 Will Be Charged For Each Payment Received After The Fifth Calendar Day of A Given Month. New Completed and Signed Student Registration And Other Required Forms Must Be Completed By A Parent Or Guardian/Sponsor For Each Student. These documents along with copies of birth certificate and current student medical examination by a licensed physician must be on file prior to the seating of the student in class. A promise to provide any of the required documents later will not be acceptable; they may be completed on site. Each blank document is available at school or on the school's website (www.feschool.org). The new registration forms for next term is available on the website as of May 9, 2008. Usually these and related forms will not be mailed. Interested parents are welcome to stop by the school and request an Information/Registration Packet.

The School Is Not Offering A Summer Fun And Travel Camp This Summer. This is because of staff commitments over the summer, i.e., summer courses, vacations, health camps, and travel. We trust God and our parents that reliable, safe, and convenient care will be sought out early and found for each student. The deadline for the initial payment of fees (the 1st and 10th installments amounting to $700.00) for next term is not September, but August 1, 2008.

There Will Be A Parent Orientation and Open House Meeting On Thursday evening, August 21, 2008, at 7:00 p.m.. The first pupil day of attendance will be Monday, August 25, 2008.The First Parent Teacher Organization Meeting is scheduled for Monday, September 8, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. Teachers will be on campus August 18 - 21, 2008 preparing classroom areas and specific preparation for welcoming students. Teachers will welcome a "short" visit or call from you during this time if you'd like. I will be in and out of the office during a fair amount of the summer, but available to meet with you just about any time with advance notice Sundays - Fridays. You are welcome to call to our home at any time (302)-735-4575.

Student Registration Application And Related Forms to be completed by parents are listed on the website for convenient downloading in your home or office. Hard copies of the forms are available at the school office and at our home. A student may be registered at any mutually agreed time as long as seats remain in a class. Official Registration Dates at  times are listed here for your convenience: June 2, 2008,  July 2, 2008, and August 1, 2008, 10:00 a. m. - 1:00 p. m., and 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p. m. Please do not delay until the last minute if you plan for your child to attend FEMS. Plan now to fully gather and complete each necessary form and have prepared all the required documents and fees on time for a smooth entry into the 2008-2009 school year. Should you decide to enroll your son or daughter in another school program, do it as soon as possible for the benefit of all concerned. Our prayers are for you and your family's good whatever you decide. God bless you. A late registration fee of $50.00 will be charged after August 15, 2008.

Enjoy the remainder of a safe and fun summer with your family.

                                                                         Sincerely in Christian faith,

                                                                         David L. Jones, Administrator
