The First Pupil Day for
the 2009 -2010 School Year Will Be Monday, August 24, 2009.
Enrolling a student in
Faith Elementary and Middle School is simple and easy once you have made the
determination that you that your child can likely grow scholastically and in
character at FEMS. We are interested in serious parents who know they can
afford being a Faith Parent, or parents who are aware of what it takes to have
and keep a student enrolled at Faith, and are willing to accept the
responsibility to meet their obligations on a timely basis by sacrifice. As
much as we are dedicated to offering our students our very best, it must
be very clear to each parent that we cannot accept or maintain in our
enrollment any student who is likely to become a ward of the school because the
parent cannot or will not regularly meet his or her financial and support
commitments to the school. To this extent, we are only able and willing to
accept and keep students whose parents hold their child's matriculation at
Faith as a high priority. We do not have enough time or energy to take on the
roll of a collection company to beg, cajole, or repeatedly remind a parent that
the school needs funds the parent already agreed to pay timely prior to
enrollment. This is especially true when the parent has sufficient other school
choices beside FEMS.
We regret that we do not
have student scholarships to offer. It will not do for a parent to deliver us a
student and decide that the school will train the student despite the parent's
inattention to their financial promise or as they offer one excuse or the other
for non-payment, or make promises that will never be honored. This is no longer
the school; this is also not the time. Parents who are
honest, and who accept that the school depends on EACH parent to be as faithful
to the school as we will be to their child are welcome to inquire on.
Others should find another program to meet their child's need. In the past,
often our compassion for those who said they needed our services but were not
faithful in keeping their contractual commitments have endangered our ability
to serve students whose parents were faithful, supportive, and dependable.
Those days are gone. Should God ever bless us with resources to offer services
to students from needy families, we will be more than willing to announce and
develop a financial aide program. Our concern is to serve any student needing
our services; nevertheless, the reality of our situation is that we may serve
only students whom someone or some entity is faithfully funding and supporting
to make matriculation in the school possible. If the foregoing did not offend
or discourage you, we welcome you to read on:
