Visitor and Friend:
Welcome to an opportunity to learn about a modern-day miracle of grace
and blessings on behalf of children, youth, and their families in Dover,
Delaware, U.S.A. You are
invited to become a regular visitor to our school's website. I invite you to
consider taking the time to learn all you can over time about this hearty little
school that has been offering basic Christian, academic education and good
character training to it's students for nearly than twenty years. We are
learning web development as we attempt to tell of our challenges and blessings
and hopes for exciting times ahead! You may need to visit often to witness our
growth and successes. We appreciate this medium whereby we hope to increase
awareness of our mission and enlarge our family of supporters and
well-wishers.
Our school exist to serve students from the Dover and surrounding
communities whose parents decide their child needs scholastic help or a
challenging academic start in developing a firm education foundation on which to
build in future years. Our
school also exist to demonstrate that God loves and cares for children.
Our staff and students are diverse in religious and cultural backgrounds. We are
largely of African American and Protestant backgrounds. Nevertheless, we have
welcomed Catholic, Caucasian, Hispanic, Indian, Jewish, Muslim, and individuals
of non-western orientations as first class leaders, members, and partners
in our school. We believe God has a definite interest in and plan for the lives
of children all over the world. Here at Faith Elementary and Middle School, we
feel privileged to serve children as we try to follow our understanding of how
God wants to use us to help them. Some of our students have come from families
without a strong or specific church or religious background.
It is true that we have had a struggle from the very beginning of this
Christian Mission for All Children.
So far, even though we live in a very rich country where we enjoy many freedoms,
our school has fought hard for it's survival. We experience many hardships. Yet,
we have been a blessing to more than 800 students in almost 21 years. While we
have had many challenges, we have also experienced a great many blessings. Each
day's operation has been a succession of minor, and sometimes major blessings by
God through caring supporters, parents, teachers, staff, and community
well-wishers.
We are growing smart, skillful, self-assured, beautiful, and inquisitive
scholars here at Faith. We have
wonderful and supporting parents. Our teachers are highly qualified and fully
committed. Our love for children and youth is genuine. Our respect for their
families is genuine. God has blessed us with a faith that is enriching and
rewarding. We are looking to better times and greater tangible accomplishments
in and for our school.
I invite you to consider becoming a Faith Supporter in ways that you can
in the coming days as you return for other visits.
My prayer for you wherever you are, is that God will reveal to you in His time,
His will and direction for your life, and that you will accept and embrace it
with all that you may become in Him. Pray for our success and the prosperity of
this mission for children and the glory of God. Pray for us. Help us if you
can.

We may work together to know peace and fulfillment and equality and the
satisfaction of helping to make the world a better place in which to live, each
one of us starting with our own community and reaching out where we can to be a
